Piero di Cosimo (1462-1522), Florentine eccentric painter between the Renaissance and Mannerism, on display at the Uffizi from 23 June to 27 September. The exhibition is the first exhibition dedicated to the author, which will be presented in chronological order the works of the master. Beside amazing altarpieces can admire rounds intended for residential, mysterious paintings themed profane.
In the exhibition we can admire about thirty of forty-painted designs, esplificare exposed to the creative path of Piero.
Also on display will be the works of masters of the same period, as Filippino Lippi, Cosimo Rosselli and Fra 'Bartolomeo.
Among the paintings of the most fascinating present, we quote the table with the Death of Procris the National Gallery in London, the panels with scenes of hunting the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Portrait of Giuliano da Sangallo the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Holy Conversation Ospedale degli Innocenti (MUDI), the Visitation of the National Gallery in Washington.
